Pretty good show but not tops in my opinion. Pete explains Tommy in great detail. The Overture is only 22 seconds long and then cuts into It's A Boy. However, Magic Bus is the real hi- ghlight here. The tape drags for a second or two on the intro and there is a minor drop- out in the middle of the song lasting only a second or two. Pete's guitar playing on this tune is interesting. Sort of reminiscent of the Fillmore East jams. Finally he lets go and overpowers RD's harmonica playing. The harder Roger tries, the louder Pete's SG gets! The "outro" of the track features the chords that would ultimately comprise Naked Eye with Roger singing about the Magic Bus and Pete's just jamming away. Read the review from Live!
