Who Is Tommy? (CD) (Dynamite Studio, DS94-A077, DS94-A078)
Venue: Unknown Recording: Audience Comments: Ed Hanel's The Who The Illustrated Discography as well as Hot Wacks list this one as Live at Dallas Memorial Stadium, September 1969. The Who did not play Dallas that month. More than likely, this is from June 19, 1970. Throughout the entire show there’s a lot of audible audience chatter, sometimes over the band! Keith Moon's drums are at times barely audible. However, the group sound like they put on a good show. It's a shame we can't hear it better. The last four tracks on side 4 are studio tracks and presumed to be soundboard recordings. Apparently there ar different pressings that delete the first four tracks of side 1 and the last four tracks (side 4) Some also came with a picture cover. Compare with the titles listed above.
