    - Very poor audio, with background noise throughout the entire tape; Quadrophenia is played
the night before it is released; Pete screws up The Punk Meets the Godfather; The Real Me
doesn’t sound quite right, nor does Dr. Jimmy, but the sound quality is really too poor to know
for sure; possibly the longest Magic Bus ever.

    - Occasional distortion, but overall good audio; as was their custom at this time, 12 Quad
songs sandwiched between 2 versions of MyGeneration; Roger stops See Me, Feel Me dead
and encourages audience to sing; Magic Bus jam ends with a loose version of Louie Louie.

“FALLOUT SHELTER” TOUR 1973

  1. 20/11/73, Cow Palace, San Francisco (3C)
    - Good-very good audio; Keith passes out during Magic Bus, Pete asks: "Can anybody play

Pete, Roger and John really try and play hard to compensate for the fact that Keith is missing
    for a few songs.

    - Good audio; as was their interesting custom during this era, they play 11 songs from
Quadrophenia, sandwhiched between 2 rounds of My Generation; Quad, by the way is
magnificent, except slight screw up during Dr. Jimmy, which is hard to figure out who actually
    screwed up

  8. 06/12/73 Capitol Center, Largo, MD and/or 12/4/73 Philadelphia Spectrum (3C)
    - One of the best boots there is in terms of audio quality and performance; "The story is set on
a rock, in the middle of a stormy sea."
    - From a classic bootleg called Mods and Rockers; other bootlegs from these shows entitled

    Tour and Decidedly Belated Response
