Pete says that he strung the E & A strings high in order to get the
lopsided chords. I've forgone this, (since I don't have multiple guitars
to restring) and placed a capo on the 3rd fret. The chord voicings are
approimate, but close enough.

Fsus2

(w/rhy fig 1)
Siting in clouds of air
Playing that no one's there
Holding your head to the sky, in pain
Swinging the smoke around
Cross like in Heaven bound
Hot line is cut off, 'cause your bills aren't paid
Praying's a game you play
Sayings from saints to say
One minute here again
(then) out of your brain
Playing the praying game
Staying away from pain
Keeping out of the rain
Praying the game

(w/rhy fig2)
And it's all a losers stance
As your hurting all together
Are you realy getting through?
Would you be wrong to sing and dance
Life goes on forever
Understanding isn't really new

(Intro Bridge fig 1, repeat 3×, then play bridge fig 2a)

(w/rhy fig 1)
I am a fool you claim
We are one all the same
Then you surrender, and the case is closed
Guess you ride innocence
I cause a same offense
Short change my heart, for a fashionable home
Praying's a game we play
All do it every day
No point pretending nobodys fool
Staying the same we say
we're going to change our way
Treating the Lord, like a teacher in school

(w/rhy fig 2)
And we check over each shoulder
Making sure that no one knows
As we get down on our knees
And yet the witness is inside
Looking out through our own eyes
Is there really word beyond the trees?

(Bridge Fig. 1 3×- Bridge 2a & 2b)

(3:04--Improvise in C petatonic)
Ab5-Bb5-Csus2
(w/rhy fig 2)
Praying's a game you play
Saying's from saints to say
One minute here again, and out of your brain
Playing the praying game
staying away from pain
Keeping out of the rain
praying the game
