The Who's first U.K. EP "Ready Steady WHO" is released. It is supposed to be live tracks from The Who's recent television special but is, in fact, studio tracks recorded between February and August 1966. It goes all the way to #1 on the U.K. EP charts but isn't released in the U.S.
