Roger Daltrey, left, whose illness led to a March 13 cancellation during the first song, and Pete Townshend of The Who perform Sunday at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa. The two-week bout with bronchitis interrupted the band’s tour and brought a return visit to Tampa.

"I might hit some bum notes tonight, but what I have is yours," Daltrey told the crowd of 9,500. "And if everyone sings along, no one will give a (bleep) anyway.”
