A packed house for The Who

Chanting 'We are Who-man beings,' 64,000 concertgoers wedged into the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando as the British rock group The Who thundered away Saturday in the final concert of its American tour.

Over the stage a large video screen showed enlarged images of the group members Peter Townshend, Roger Daltrey, Kenney Jones and bassist John Entwhistle, who is shown in the photo above.

Police afterwards reported no major problems, though the largest audience ever to attend a one-day concert in the city booed one of the warm-up groups, the B-52s, off the stage.

Officials said about 60 people received various forms of medical attention and 23 people were arrested, most for gate-crashing.
