THE Who returned to Britain last night for a sell-out performance of Quadrophenia — with a little help from famous friends.

Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle and Pete Townshend enlisted Billy Idol for their two-venue "tour" which comes to Manchester's Nynex Arena next Wednesday. And Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey was on drums at London's Earl's Court.
