    1964 – The Detours play the Oldfield Hotel in Greenford

    1966 – The Who play Municipal Hall in Pontypridd

    1966 – New Musical Express prints an interview with Pete called “What a way to talk about your own fans!” It’s Pete’s first interview to discuss his love-hate relationship with The Who’s following.

     

    About a week later someone wrote into their local paper to discuss this interview.

    1967 – Disc & Music echo features “Who are The Who? This week – John Entwistle”

    1967 – Melody Maker prints the interview “Pop think in: Pete Townshend.” They also publish two letters from readers about the New Years eve show at the Roundhouse.

    1975 – John Entwistle and his band The Ox play Plymouth Guildhall

    2002 – Pete posts the script to White City on his website.

    2003 – “.com for Murder”, a thriller with Roger Daltrey as an architect, is released straight to video.

    2005 – The comic strip “Crankshaft” features a reference to The Who

    2012 – Roger Daltrey appears in the BBC Two documentary “Ken Russell: A Bit of a Devil”. Russell died a month and a half before.
