The Who Came — With Smoke
A crowd of 1500 pop fans — a record attendance for the Royal Links Pavilion — saw The Who perform their new stage act at Cromer on Saturday.
This was only the second time the group have performed the new act, which includes the use of smoke bombs to assimilate an amplifier fire.
Mr. Rodney Blow, joint manager of the Royal Links, said that the audience — greater by 300 than that attracted by the Swinging Blue Jeans — was appreciative and extremely well behaved.
