    1963 – The Detours play the White Hart Hotel in Acton

    1963 – The Detours play the Douglas House in Bayswater.

    1965 – The Who play Le Disque a Go!Go! Club in Lansdowne, Bournemouth, Hampshire

    1969 – The Who end the recording of Tommy at IBC Studio A after almost five months in the studio.

    1973 – New Musical Express carries the second part of their interview with Pete Townshend. You can read both parts here

    1973 – The Who break in their new studio, Ramport Studios, in Battersea, South London. Initial recordings reveal the 16-track console is not ready for serious Who work.

    1975 – John and his band The Ox is the headlining act at the Agora Ballroom in Columbus, Ohio

    1984 – Roger’s “Walking In My Sleep” backed with “Somebody Told Me” (the 12′ also has “Gimme Some Lovin'” on the B-side) hits the charts. In Britain it peaks at #56. In the U.S. it reaches #62 in Billboard and #73 in Cash Box.

    1996 – Pete plays “Pinball Wizard” with Paul Keating at a private party for the cast and crew of the West End stage version of Tommy at The Orange in London

    1996 – The John Entwistle Band play Palookaville in Santa Cruz, California

    1999 – Status Graphite reports that John Entwistle has designed the Buzzard 2 bass that will premiere at the upcoming MusikMesse ’99 in Frankfurt

    2000 – Roger appears with the British Rock Symphony appearing at the Sydney SuperDome

    2000 – Roger is involved in a car accident

    2002 – Ed Masley in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette votes The Who Sings My Generation the best debut album of all time

    2007 – Pete and his partner Rachel Fuller hold another of their intimate “In The Attic” shows at Hotel Café in Hollywood. Also performing is Tenacious D despite Jack Black having a sore throat, Alexi Murdoch, Joe Purdy, and Ben Harper

    2009 – Jerry Cortez releases his CD American Invasion featuring a cover of “The Kids Are Alright”

    2010 – Roger opens for Eric Clapton at the Sprint Center in Kansas City

    2016 – The Who play Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York
