The Who will play two nights at Winterland on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28. Tickets will go on sale, according to Sir Productions, the rock group's management, "towards the third week in February."

Bill Graham, promoter of the Winterland concerts, has not yet decided when or how local tickets will be made available.

The Who's tour, the second part of an extensive U.S. series of concerts, will begin March 9 in Boston, play New York, St. Paul, Madison, Oklahoma City, Ft. Worth, Salt Lake City, Denver, Anaheim, Portland, Seattle, and conclude with the Winterland dates.

Ticket details will be announced in the Examiner as soon as they are available.
