Answers to The Who quiz:
1. C — Roger Daltrey formed The Detours in 1961 and was later joined by Peter Townshend on lead guitar and John Entwistle on bass. Keith Moon came on board on 1964, when the band became The Who.
2. A — Daltrey was born on March 1, 1944, 10 months before Entwistle. Two years separate Daltrey from Moon, the youngest band member.
3. D — The boy becomes deaf, dumb and blind after his mother brainwashed him. Her husband and the boys father, British army captain Walker, who was presumed dead, returned to find her with a new lover. Walker murdered the man, and Mommys mother brainwashed him to erase his memories.
4. B — The band broke up when Townshend tired of touring and wanted to concentrate on studio albums. They played a reunion tour in 1989, as well as a few special appearances, before resuming a regular tour schedule in 1999.
5. A. — I Cant Explain reached No. 8 on the British charts (93 in the U.S.) in 1964.

7. A — Baba refers to Meher Baba, an Indian mystic and spiritual master who Peter Townshend turned to while trying to kick a drug habit, while Terry Riley was a minimalist composer admired by Townshend.
8. D — Moon died of a drug overdose in 1978 at age 32. Bassist John Entwistle died in 2002 at age 57 of a heart attack attributed to cocaine use.
9. A — Jimmy becomes disenchanted with his life and steals a sailboat and travels to a rock overlooking the sea.
