The Who — four British lads who're "far out but way ahead" are music to the tent Aug. 4 at 8:30 P.M.

London boys Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Keith Moon and John Entwistle, a group of musicians who credit themselves with originating the pop art clothing craze, work with amplifiers and what they term "exciting sounds."

A long string of Who hits includes I Can See for Miles, Call Me Lightning, Happy Jack, My Generation and I Can't Explain. And fans of the British film "Blow-up" — which featured the Who in instrument-breaking performance — may be blessed with the same destructive display.
