
Tickets for Who concert go on sale Friday

TAMPA — Tickets for The
Who’s J uly 29 concert at Tampa Sta-
dium will go on sale at 10 am. Fri-
day, the show’s promoters said
Monday.
The 31/3-hour concert, one of two
Florida dates on the rock group’s
25-city 25th-anniversary tour, will
begin at 7 pm. Gates will open at 5
p.m., and one intermission is sched-
uled.
Original Who members Pete
Townshend, Roger Daltrey and
John Entwistle will be joined by ex-
Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, drum-
mer Simon Phillips, keyboardist
J ohn “Rabbit” Bundrick and several
backup singers and musicians, ac-
cording to Cellar Door Productions,
promoters of the concert.
Who hits, including music from
“Tommy,” will be augmented with
Townshend solo material and a vid-
eo tribute to the late Keith Moon,
the Who’s original drummer.
Tickets will be available at all
Central Florida TicketMaster out-
lets. They also may be ordered by

839-3900. Each customer will be
limited to 12 tickets.
