TORONTO

Seconds after The Who left the stage at Maple Leaf Gardens Thursday night, after giving the second to last concert of their final tour, a crowd of more than 16,000 rock fans were treated to a brief but colorful fireworks display.

Britain's 20-year-old quartet played the concert with flair, giving promise of a bang-up finale when it appears again at the Gardens tonight.

The last show is to be carried live via satellite to 36 Canadian television and radio stations, available in the U.S. through cable and pay-TV.
