"Pinball Wizard," the first new recording from The Who in seven months is released in Britain. The b-side is the Keith Moon-credited instrumental "Dogs Part 2," although the single also lists Towser and Jason, Pete and John's dogs, respectively as authors. The single The Who's first to be released in stereo will ultimately reach #4 The Who's first big hit in two years.
