The last line of the article above mentions “…tomorrow (March 18)”. Is it confirmed that this article is from March 19?
Melody maker and many other magazines of the time had a “publication date”, in this case the 19th. But, they were often sold days earlier (as early as Tuesday), so the date may really be “week ended:”. I have confirmed this article is from the Melody Maker of the 19th, but you are right to question it!
