The Who play the HillSide Ballroom in Hereford, Worcestershire. Before the show Who production director Mike Shaw is nearly killed in a traffic accident while driving The Who's equipment van. He ends up in a wheelchair. Future Led Zeppelin tour manager Richard Cole takes over as driver.
