The Who play the Beachcomber Club in Preston, Lancashire

 

This show is listed in both The Concert File and Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere - So I have confidence it happened, but I've not found any ad for it. If anyone lives in the Preston area and has access to a library with "Lancashire Evening Post" - perhaps there was an ad there? I've found evidence that the Beachcomber in Preston did advertise shows in June of 66, so perhaps earlier as well.
