The Who play in Oxford at Pembroke College. The Who, along with Cream, appeared at Pembroke College May Ball, University of Oxford. Judging by the photographs the audience of snooty debutantes and stuffy undergraduates didn't particularly take to The Who's somewhat loud and raucous music. Notice some of the audience covering their ears! Notice too Pete, somewhat resplendent in a silk paisley dressing gown making sure that The Who's music was well and truly heard! Whilst smoke bombs filled the Grand Marquee at the end of their set, someone helped themselves to one of Pete Townshend guitars, worth 150 quid which, in 1967 was a considerable sum of money. During the show Keith injured himself while throwing his drums
