The Who play the Exposition Gardens Opera House in Peoria, Illinois. The show is filmed by a BBC camera crew for a Tony Palmer documentary, The promoter at this show withholds the balance of the band's fee claiming they overplayed. On this day or the next The Who are filmed aboard their bus motoring through the Midwest. Clips from the bus ride later appear in The Kids Are Alright.
