Friday, June 14th, 1974

The Who play the final night of 4 at Madison Square Gardens in New York. Four Gibson Les Paul Deluxe guitars were smashed (three by Pete, one by Keith). Pete smashes the first Les Paul at end of the regular set (My Generation), then two together at the end of encore (Naked Eye) with help from the mic stand. Keith then smashed a fourth guitar. Montrose opens.
