The Who perform at the Live 8 benefit in London which is broadcast around the world. Since bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Zak Starkey are both out on tour, their places are taken by Damon Minchella and Steve White who are given only one quick rehearsal with the band the day before. A planned four song set is cut down to only "Who Are You" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" after overruns by previous performers.
