The Who planned to perform a free concert in Central Park but it was banned by Mayor John Lindsay
Denver authorities ban a planned show there because of a riot at a Jethro Tull concert the previous June. Another show not the 24th was also planned but did not occur.

The Who fly back to London. All except for Pete who is kicked off the plane for excessive inebriation. He gets a flight out the next day.
