Roger Daltrey sets off with his own solo band performing the entirety of Tommy (minus “Underture”) at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton. His musical director and keyboardist is Loren Gold who will subsequently become The Who’s new primary keyboardist in their subsequent tours.
