Pete attends the funeral for The Beatles’ former road manager and business advisor Neil Aspinall. At the service held at St Mary-the-Virgin Church in Twickenham, Pete performs two of Aspinall’s favorite songs, “Mr. Tambourine Man” and “My Sweet Lord.”
Roger performs at the Childline Rocks benefit concert at the IndigO2 in London. Following Marillion and Fish, Roger and backing band Thunder perform “Two Thousand Years,” “The Kids Are Alright” and “Behind Blue Eyes.”
The compilation CD The Who: The Ultimate Collection is awarded Platinum status by the RIAA
The DVD TCT at the Royal Albert Hall is released at the Teenage Cancer Trust website. The disc features Who performances of “The Seeker,” “Baba O’Riley” and “Tea & Theatre” plus Roger with Razorlight doing “Summertime Blues.” The general public release isn’t until 14 April.
