The Who are photographed by David Montgomery at his Edith Grove, Chelsea studio. The photos are extensively employed as publicity and are later used for the U.S. cover of Who's Better Who's Best and the U.K. cover of The Definitive Collection.

Richard Evans has stated that he's asked David Montgomery about these photos and he denies being the photographer. We're leaving them published on this date until we have further information
