John's third solo album John Entwistle's Rigor Mortis Sets In is released in the U.S. The cover is inverted from the European release. John and company get thumbs up in Crawdaddy, Zoo World and Stereo Review. The album peaks at #174 in the U.S. Billboard charts. A single, "Made In Japan"/"Roller Skate Kate" is released simultaneously to no avail.
