Keith takes Melody Maker journalist Chris Welch on a "punk rock pub crawl." Accompanying them is Keith Altham, Bill Curbishley, Richard Dorse, and Billy Idol and Tony James of Generation X. They drive the short distance from the Marquee to the Vortex Club in Keith's pink Rolls Royce. Spying the queue of punks waiting to get in, Keith berates them. "Call yourselves anarchists? I've never queued in my life! I'll show you how to walk into a club!" He promptly marches in past the bouncers to the punks' cheers.
