Pete is interviewed about the writing of Endless Wire in Metro International: "Some of them I started in 2002, when John Entwistle was alive, and he always had lots of songs ready. At that time Roger was promising to write songs as well, so I concentrated on trying to produce songs that were arch, dark and extreme - leaving the lighter stuff to John and Roger."
