Youth's Fatal Fall Over 100ft Cliff
A 17 YEARS OLD youth fell to his death from the 100ft high cliffs at Saltdean, near Brighton, today. He had been sleeping out with friends on the cliff top.
Police believe he got up early and walked over the cliff edge by mistake.
He was Barry Prior, of Church Crescent, Finchley, London, who went to Brighton on his motor scooter and camped on the cliff top last night.
This morning his friends awoke to find his empty sleeping bag. Later his body was found at the foot of the cliffs. He was bare-footed but otherwise fully dressed in jeans and a green anorak.
