White Front Slates Teen Pop Concert

White Front Stores today had announced an upcoming two and one half hour "Festival of Music" pop concert at Hollywood Bowl which will bill on one stage The Association, Animals, Everly Brothers, The Who, Sunshine Co. and Sopwith Camel.

The concert will be held Sunday, Nov. 19, with each group performing at both a matinee and an evening show.

"White Front has lined up the idol of teen television viewers, Sam Riddie, to produce and emcee the show," said a White Front spokesman. The same group of entertainers will perform at San Francisco's Cow Palace on Nov. 18.

"Tickets to the shows are included with the purchase of any Warner Bros. or MGM stereo album at any White Front Store. Cost of the albums remains at White Front's usual low discount prices," the spokesman said.

The rock 'n roll festival is an idea of White Front's vice president Sam Nasci who sees it as a "natural" for promoting records, explained the spokesman.
