Where the Bands Are

Where the Bands Are

You would have had to have been there to have believed last night's show by those English recording stars, The Who, at the Muncie Barn. Fabulous, fantastic, better in person than on their records . . . and sure enough, THEY DID end the evening with a smasher . . . an amp pushed over, drums flying, cymbals all around, and those beautiful guitars on the floor.

Tell you more about The Who next week.

Incidentally, among scores of groups from all over at The Barn last night was one from Gas City brought over by former Muncie resident Bill Ormsby.

In case you wondered that TALL, TALL lad with the long, long black hair and way-out clothes was with the all-girl group that played, and is from St. Petersburg, Fla., now in an Indianapolis combo. (The Other 5 was the third group on last night's bill.)
