My colleagues and I would like to pay tribute to the young people who queued for tickets for The Who concert, at the Civic Hall.

When the doors were opened they came in cold and wet, but their happy chit-chat made it a great pleasure to serve them. Our only regret is that some of them had to be disappointed.
