Opening the show for the Who Nov. 20 in the Summit will be the Jamaican reggae group, Toots & the Maytals. Hand-picked by the Who's Pete Townshend to accompany the British rock band on its current tour.

Toots & the Maytals boast the distinction of having given reggae its name. When Jamaican ska and blue beat evolved into a faster and, at that time unnamed, rhythm, Toots Hibbert wrote a song called "Do the Reggay" in 1968 and, like Alan Freed's "rock 'n' roll," a style was born.
