As the lights dimmed, the audience went wild. When the stage lights went on, the crowd roared even louder — the Who was on!

As Roger Daltrey swung into the first number, the fans screamed wildly, and sang through the whole concert.

Pete Townshend did his famous leaps and jumps, as Daltrey swung his mike high above his head. They did songs from their newest album, The Who by Numbers.

All the fans screamed when Keith Moon announced that they would do songs from the rock opera, Tommy. They performed, "The Amazing Journey," "Acid Queen," "Sparks," "Pinball Wizard," "I'm Free," "Fiddle About," "Tommy's Holiday Camp," "We're Not Gonna Take It," "Listening to You/See Me, Feel Me." After this outstanding group of songs, the audience gave them a five minute standing ovation.

John Entwistle was his usual quiet self, but gave a fine performance on a solo.

After about three hours of fantastic music, Keith Moon threw his drumsticks out into the excited audience and the Who walked off the stage into an exit, followed by a fifteen minute standing ovation by the audience.
