Tickets for The Who rock concert, set for March 16 at the Tarrant County Convention Center, went on sale this morning at two area locations 6 Amusement Ticket Service in the lobby of Rodeway Inn and Central Ticket Office at the Sheraton downtown.

Both places reported very brisk business through the morning hours.

A spokesman for Amusement Ticket Service said a crowd had gathered there before they opened sales at 5:30 this morning, with steady business ever since.

At Central Ticket Office, there were three lines going and "more coming."

This is The Who's first concert in Fort Worth.

The group, generally rated as one of the most popular worldwide, sold out 17,000 tickets for their Houston concert last November in four hours.
