Hottest item concert-wise in a few weeks will be a ticket to The Who shows at Winterland next month.

Shortly, rock promoter Bill Graham's outfit will announce it will accept mail orders for the March 27 and 28 concerts at the Post and Steiner concert hall  two tickets to a customer please.

Tickets are $8.50 apiece, plus a 50 cents BASS service charge per ticket, and 50 cents per order for handling. So, get your mail orders ready, at $18.70 a crack.

Funny, but the same weekend  that's Saturday and Sunday  Graham's F/M Productions are also producing two Chicago concerts at the Cow Palace.

Imagine  The Who and Chicago in town the same weekend. What a Saturday and Sunday that's going to be, if you get tickets for both affairs, that is. Good luck.
