POP star Keith Moon—“Moon the Loon”—was involved in a drama aboard a British Airways flight in the Seychelles today, and ordered by the captain to leave the flight.
A doctor went aboard and declared him unfit to travel and, according to the airline, he was taken to hospital.
His blonde girlfriend, Annette Walter-Lax, flew on to London.
Moon had boarded the airliner in Mauritius and stayed aboard in the Seychelles.
One of the passengers, Mr John Taylor, from Bovingdon, Herts, said: “He was running up and down the aircraft and f-ing and blinding at the crew.
“His girlfriend, we were told, gave him some sleeping pills. Then the doctor arrived and said he was unfit to fly on.
“We saw him running down the steps demanding to see the Press. At first, the Seychelles authorities said they

would not let him in but then the British consul was called.”
Another man said: “Frankly he looked as if he was plastered.”
The pilot left the airliner at Nairobi for his rest period.
British Airways said: “There was an incident aboard. Mr Moon’s behaviour was upsetting other passengers and the captain asked him to leave. A doctor saw him and we hear that he is in hospital.”
