Concertgoers who attend performances by the Who (left) at Masonic Auditorium and the Silverdome will have to sit through a commercial of sorts. Promoters of the film "Quadrophenia" are using the concerts as an opportunity to plug their product.

They'll be showing an eight-minute preview of the movie, a dramatic interpretation of the rock opera written by the Who. The film opens in Detroit Dec. 21.
