Townshend's Anger Ignites Explosive Rock

MANSFIELD – The tantrum may still be raging for all we know. The Who’s Pete Townshend, peeved that some multimedia screen projections didn’t work last night (thus disrupting the largest show of his tour), promised the “definitive artist’s tantrum” once the show ended.

“I will kill people,” Townshend said through gritted teeth to the 10,000 fans at Great Woods. “We have this unbelievably expensive technology that won’t [expletive] work.”
