For the first time in 24 years, guitarist Pete Townshend and the kid he chose to be his voice back in the early '60s, Roger Daltrey, can offset such classics as "Baba O'Riley" and "My Generation" with songs from an album of all-new Who material, "Endless Wire."

David Fricke at Rolling Stone responded to the historic occasion with a four-star rave, acknowledging that only half the members of the group that gave the world "My Generation" are alive to carry on the legacy, but that it didn't seem to matter when he saw the second of The Who's New York shows in September.
