A big Who has

THE WHO The Rose Bowl, Southampton

SIXTIES rock legends The Who – or at least survivors Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey – will be back in action at the Rose Bowl tomorrow.

The band, possibly the best live act of the ’60s and early ’70s, may not have the energy

of yesteryear and they don’t, of course, have the manic genius that was drummer Keith Moon or the compelling talent that was bassman John Entwistle.

But at least they’re still standing and still delivering some classic sounds.
