The Who, one of the best selling bands of all time, will be coming to the First Direct Arena this December to celebrate 50 years of rock and roll! This announcement is particularly poignant to the city of Leeds, as it was here in 1970 that The Who recorded Live At Leeds, cited by many as the best live rock recording of all time.

Tickets for the Tuesday December 2 show go on sale tomorrow, priced from 30.

The Who Hits 50 UK tour will see the band take their audience on an 8Amazing Journey 9 through their entire career from the days of The High Numbers to classic albums such as Who9s Next, Tommy, Quadrophenia, My Generation, Live At Leeds and up to the present day.

The show which guitarist Pete Townshend describes as 8Hits, Picks, Mixes and Misses 9 will see the band play all the classic anthems as well as tackling deeper cuts from their catalogue, including Won 9t Get Fooled Again, My Generation, Baba O 9Riley, Who Are You, I Can 9t Explain, Pinball Wizard, Behind Blue Eyes and many more!
