The Who returns to Van Andel

One of rock’s most-legendary bands is returning to Michigan for a pair of shows.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Who will bring their “Moving On Tour” to Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena and Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena in 2019.

The 29-city tour featuring energetic frontman Roger Daltrey and windmill-playing guitarist Peter Townshend will begin in Grand Rapids at 7:30 p.m. May 7. The Who’s Detroit show is scheduled for May 28. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the venues’ box offices, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at Ticketmaster.com.
