1963 – The Detours play the Grand Ballroom in Broadstairs
1965 – Manager Kit Lambert receives a letter stating that their April 15, 1965 gig at the Locarno Ballroom, Swindon has been canceled because the Promoter has had a lot of trouble lately and he feels that THE WHO are not the type of Group that would go well in his Ballroom. A copy of this document later appears included in Live At Leeds Incidentally, they did find another show for the cancelled date…they played the Victoria Ballroom in Chesterfield on April 15
1965 – The Who play Parr Hall in Warrington, Lancashire
1968 – Go magazine reports “The Who make anti-smoking commercial” about “Little Billy.” Go also says The Who’s fall TV series will play on the BBC, will be an hour-long and The Monkees, Bob Dylan and Lulu have been scheduled as guests.
1968 – The Who play the Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa, Florida
1969 – Pinball Wizard,” again backed with “Dogs Part 2,” is released in the U.S. It comes in a black-and-white picture sleeve that declares it is a selection from the forthcoming opera “Tommy (1914-1984).” This is the first public mention that the opera known up to this time as “Deaf Dumb and Blind Boy,” has been retitled Tommy. The single will peak at #19 in Billboard and #15 in Cash Box again the first Top Twenty hit in the U.S. for The Who in two years.

1969 – Pete tries to ward off criticism of his new work in an interview in New Musical Express. Pinball Wizard appears at #26 in the NME Top 30
1975 – Billboard magazine carries a review of “Tommy – Original Soundtrack”
1975 – John and his band The Ox play the Milwaukee Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin supporting J. Geils Band and James Cotton
1976 – Pete goes to a doctor to discover the cause of painful ringing keeping him up at night. He is told that there is no cure, only treatment, for his tinnitus and, if he continues to subject himself to the volumes associated with The Who, he will lose his hearing completely within a few years

1978 – Keith Moon and his girlfriend Annette attend the London premiere of Saturday Night Fever. Keith makes headlines when he plants a kiss on fellow attendee Joyce McKinney, then infamous for allegedly kidnapping her Mormon boyfriend.
1980 – New Musical Express reports that Pete’s only copy of the script of Lifehouse was accidentally sent to record producer Nick Lowe instead of film director Nicholas Roeg. Lowe threw the script in the trash but it was later retrieved and returned to Pete
1986 – Roger appears on the British show “Number 73” performing “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and “Under a Raging Moon”.
1986 – The third single from Pete’s solo album White City “Second Hand Love” backed with “White City Fighting ” is released in the U.S. It fails to chart.
1996 – The John Entwistle Band play at The Tralf in Buffalo, New York
1997 – Roger performs in a studio in Vienna. His image is sent to outdoor screens where Jean-Michael Jarre accompanies his singing. Also taking part are The Spice Girls and Supertramp. Later Roger appears on the German TV show Wetten-dass where he performs an acoustic version of “My Generation” then smashes the guitar.
1999 – The New York Daily News announces that Pete is intending to bring Psychoderelict to Broadway
2003 – Roger is interviewed in The Mirror. He speaks about John’s death saying, “He should have been a Hard Rock exhibit. In Vegas, mummified in bed. That would have been the ultimate Entwistle ending. Oh God, he’d have loved that!”
2004 – The Who play the London Forum in Kentish Town, London
2005 – Gibson Guitars issues only 75 of the “Pete Townshend LP Deluxe”, a copy of the guitar played by Pete at the end of The Kids Are Alright
2005 – The John Entwistle 2-CD compilation “John Entwistle: So Who’s The Bass Player? The Ox Anthology” is released
2006 – Pete premieres two more songs destined for Endless Wire on In The Attic, “A Man In A Purple Dress” and “2000 Years”
2007 – The Who play the Alltel Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas
2011 – Pete Townshend is photographed for Intelligent Life magazine in London, England
2015 – The Who play the O2 Arena in London
2018 – Roger Daltrey performs at The Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts
