HOWARD DANDO is Producer of the Beatles’ Broadway production, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Producer of the original Broadway production of The Who’s rock-opera Tommy. Director of the Broadway production, Elvis, The Legend Lives (at the Palace Theatre, NYC). Producer, Director, and Writer with PBS and the A&E Network; Director of Philadelphia’s Playhouse-in-the-Park, Director of New York’s Beacon Theatre, Executive Director of several dance companies including Stars of American Ballet and the New World Ballet.

Mr. Dando was Director of several theatre festivals including: The American Dance Festival (Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia), Playhouse in the Park Festival (City of Philadelphia), and Artistic Director of the largest Arts Festival in the world, The New World Festival of the Arts for the City of Miami.

Mr. Dando’s novel, Dancers in the Dark, achieved Number One Bestseller on Amazon.
