Danoelectro's were cheap guitars with decent necks... you'd be surprised who used them.... even Randy Rhoads famous pokadot custom flying V was a modified Dano neck.... same with a few of EVH's stranger early beasts built by the same guy that did Rhoads V... the builder would buy Dano's at Garage Sales and swap meets for cheap and just use the necks to base custom guitars around...

if Pete still had that Marshall 8x12 Cabnet it would most likely be priceless to collectors.... 2 were made for Pete, and 2 for John.... the best guess as to what happened to them is after roadies complained they were too heavey, Marshall cut them in half and the 4x12 cabnet was born...
