Keith, along with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Nicky Hopkins begin recording "Beck's Bolero." The other members of The Who know nothing about it at the time and it is Beck's understanding that Keith will quit The Who and join his group. When Keith fails to do so, this early version of The Jeff Beck Group falls apart.
